As an Educational Psychologist, you will join the Learning Services Department, taking part in professional consultations and assessments aimed at improving educational experiences for students.
Your role will include working with teachers and families to develop effective IEPs and interventions while providing in-service training on crucial psychological strategies and assessments. This opportunity emphasizes collaboration in a supportive team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in collaborative consultations at team meetings
• Develop classroom and student support plans
• Conduct individualized psycho-educational assessments
• Contribute to the creation of educational plans (IEPs)
• Lead training sessions for educational staff
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in educational psychology is necessary
• Eligible for licensing with the College of Health Care Professionals of BC
• Teaching certification is advantageous
