Instructional Designer Role

Position: WorkSafeBC Instructional Designer Role
Join WorkSafeBC as an Instructional Designer, where you'll develop engaging training materials for e-learning and classroom settings in a hybrid work model. This role supports the Learning and Development Services team.

As an Instructional Designer, you'll assess training needs by collaborating with stakeholders and develop instructional materials based on educational best practices. Your efforts will empower teams across B.C., providing essential training to WorkSafeBC employees. The position combines creativity and strategic thinking in both classroom and online environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess training needs with internal and external consultants

• Develop course outlines and e-learning lessons

• Create evaluation processes for training programs

• Conduct train-the-trainer programs

• Model organizational behaviors expected at WorkSafeBC

Requirements:

• Three years of experience with a bachelor's in Education

• Experience developing e-learning and classroom materials

• Knowledge of instructional technologies

• Understanding of project management models

• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
