The Wilson School of Design invites Indigenous designers—First Nations, Métis, and Inuit—to apply for this residency. This role allows for the balance of personal design projects and active involvement with the KPU community. Applicants should express their vision for engaging with faculty, students, and staff, aligning with KPU’s commitment to reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a series of design events and critiques

• Offer guest lectures and workshops

• Collaborate with students at various levels

• Engage in KPU and WSD activities

• Attend regular meetings with the Director, Strategy and Business Development

Requirements:

• Experience with in Indigenous communities

• Established or emerging design practice

• Documented involvement in the design sector

• Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary community outreach

• Collaboration abilities with event planners
