Position: Laboratory Instructor for Biology Courses
Kwantlen Polytechnic University seeks a Laboratory Instructor specializing in Biology to enhance student learning through effective lab instruction. This role is on-call and requires on-site engagement with students.

The Laboratory Instructor will take charge of various biology lab courses, helping students understand coursework while adhering to safety standards. You will work closely with faculty and other instructors to create a collaborative educational environment and ensure all lab procedures meet biosafety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in biology labs

• Assess student performance and provide guidance

• Maintain operational efficacy of lab equipment

• Direct students on safe lab practices and WHMIS compliance

• Foster student engagement in the learning process

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree in Biology;
Master’s strongly preferred

• Teaching experience in laboratory settings is advantageous

• Familiarity with lab safety protocols and techniques

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Willingness to travel between campuses
