Position: SECONDARY TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
SECONDARY TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION / INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
This part-timecontinuingposition currently consists of 4 blocks of Technology Education (which may include Woodwork 8-12, Metalwork 8-12, CADD 8-12, and Robotics 8-12), and 1 block of Information Technology. The successful candidate for this position must possess current academic and professional preparation to teach secondary school Technology Education and Information Technology.
A demonstrated commitment to implement all aspects of the BC curriculum, including a competency and inquiry-based, big ideas approach to teaching and learning. A demonstrated ability to build rapport and engage students from diverse backgrounds, a wide variety of learning needs, and styles.

The applicant should be willing to participate in collaborative planning and assessment within the Technology Education and Information Technology Departments.

Qualifications  The successful candidate must have current academic and professional preparation as well as teaching experience and be qualified to teach

Technology education and Information Technology at all secondary grade levels.
