This part-time position entails 17.58 hours weekly from Monday to Friday, providing essential support for handicapped students and those facing learning difficulties. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will develop intervention plans, lead educational activities, and assist students in enhancing their autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on drafting intervention plans with the multidisciplinary team

• Develop and lead educational and recreational activities for students

• Support student learning and autonomy throughout the school day

• Observe and adapt student environments for effective learning

• Record observations and provide comprehensive reports on student progress

Requirements:

• Hold a Diploma of College Studies in Special Care Counselling

• Successful completion of a first aid course within last 3 years

• Fluent in written and spoken French and English

• Updated skills through a minimum 6-hour refresher course

• Able to meet the diverse needs of students
