This vital role includes planning and delivering courses, tracking attendance, and ensuring safety all in a fun and positive environment for learners. Conductors must hold current Lifesaving Society certifications and demonstrate expertise in both classroom and pool settings. You will be responsible for various levels of teaching/examination to cater to different skill sets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare advanced leadership courses and evaluations
• Ensure safety for all candidates during classroom and pool activities
• Deliver engaging lessons according to planned curriculum
• Maintain accurate attendance and paperwork for courses
• Wear appropriate attire and always carry a whistle while teaching
Requirements:
• Current certifications in Lifesaving Society courses
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proven abilities in rescue skills at national standards
• Familiarity with Richmond Hill's aquatic emergency procedures
• Must teach a minimum of two courses annually
