Position: Senior Industrial Energy Engineer Role

In this vital role at PROTRANS BC, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing energy efficiency programs. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will identify energy reduction opportunities and optimize asset performance. Your leadership and analytical skills will ensure compliance with BC Hydro’s Strategic Energy Management program while advancing sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain a Strategic Energy Management Plan (SEMP)

• Analyze energy consumption data for trend identification

• Develop feasibility assessments for energy-saving projects

• Oversee integration of energy efficiency into planning

• Ensure energy savings are tracked and verified long-term

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline

• P.Eng. designation required

• Over 10 years of experience in energy management

• Demonstrated expertise in continuous improvement programs

• Strong analytical skills with data modeling experience
