Position: Junior Systems Engineer at MDA Space

MDA Space is seeking a Junior Systems Member of Technical Staff for satellite missions to support earth observation and remote sensing programs.

Your role involves defining and designing systems while collaborating with a leading team to bring a customer vision to life. Engage in technical reviews, operational procedures, and system-level analyses to enhance mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support requirements development and traceability documentation

• Translate customer needs into subsystem requirements

• Perform engineering analyses and trade-off studies

• Contribute to mission analyses including budget studies

• Review spacecraft requirements from an operations viewpoint

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or similar

• Familiar with Matlab, Python, and engineering analysis tools

• Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic environments

• Excellent communication abilities

• Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team setting
