Vancouver Mechanical Co-op Designer

Position: Vancouver Mechanical Co-op Designer Role
Dometic is looking for a Mechanical Co-op Product Designer for our Vancouver, B.C. facility, part of our leading marine organization. This position offers hands-on experience in both product design and manufacturing processes.
Ideal candidates are current students in an accredited engineering program eager to take on diverse responsibilities. You will engage in building and testing prototypes, working on multiple projects, and connecting with experienced engineers. Dometic fosters a collaborative atmosphere for co-op students, promoting growth and creativity while you contribute to innovative solutions for the boating industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop prototypes and analyze component performance

• Utilize CREO for component design and optimization

• Conduct mechanical design tasks and tolerance analysis

• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Manage varied projects and report progress
Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in an Engineering degree

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong verbal and written English communication

• Proficient in MS Office tools

• Well-organized to handle various assignments
