Join the NETGEAR Product Design team as a Lead Product Design Engineer in Richmond, BC. Lead the design and testing of innovative networking hardware for diverse retail and small business customers.
In this hybrid role, you will collaborate across teams to drive the design, documentation, and production of high-volume products made with plastic and metal enclosures. Your expertise and leadership will ensure that projects meet performance, cost, and schedule goals while managing logistics with suppliers and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and evaluate products and components thoroughly
• Collaborate closely with product design and engineering teams
• Ensure project goals for performance, cost, and schedule are met
• Manage external consultants and fabrication vendors
• Travel internationally for project needs as required
Requirements:
• BSME or equivalent experience required
• 5-6 years in Product Design or mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in Creo/PTC software
• Expertise in plastic injection molding design
• Effective leadership and project management skills
