BCIT is seeking two full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Faculty members for Category M (Maintenance) roles. You will be responsible for delivering Transport Canada-approved curriculum while teaching both theory and practical skill applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and contribute effectively to the collaborative environment within the Aerospace program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and evaluate theoretical and practical aircraft maintenance skills

• Grade student assignments, quizzes, and practical projects

• Enhance and maintain the curriculum as per accrediting requirements

• Collaborate with faculty and department heads for program support

• Apply Canadian Aviation Regulations knowledge pertaining to licensing
Requirements:

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (M or

E)

• Five years of relevant industry experience

• Previous teaching experience in post-secondary education

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online learning systems

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
