Your role emphasizes detailed design, engineering calculations, and team mentorship.
This senior position requires a recognized degree in electrical engineering and registration with EGBC, with a minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in design. You will be responsible for detailed engineering calculations, bill submissions, and creating PLS-CADD models using LIDAR data. In this role, you will also take on project site visits as needed and serve as Engineer of Record, providing essential guidance to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed designs for transmission projects
• Prepare engineering calculations and design package documents
• Build PLS-CADD models utilizing advanced data
• Design pole structures for various applications
• Offer mentorship to junior staff in project execution
Requirements:
• Post Secondary electrical engineering degree with EGBC registration
• At least 2 years of relevant design experience
• Class 5 driver's license required
• Knowledge of BCH distribution systems preferred
• Experience with customer vault design is advantageous
