Step into a pivotal role as a Geotechnical Construction Engineer within our dynamic Construction Engineering Group. You'll drive innovative geotechnical designs for projects throughout Canada and the US.
This position requires a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for reviewing construction designs, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory standards. Your technical acumen with geotechnical software and constructability knowledge will enhance project efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide input for temporary works technical design
• Draft construction methods ensuring regulatory compliance
• Optimize project design elements for cost and efficiency
• Review geotechnical reports and contractual specifications
• Manage peer review processes for design approvals
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering
• Active Professional Engineering License (P.ENG)
• 10+ years in geotechnical design and construction
• Proficiency in relevant software applications
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
