BCIT is actively seeking a skilled faculty member to teach and evaluate both theoretical and practical Aircraft Maintenance Engineer courses. This role emphasizes administrative duties including grading and curriculum maintenance while fostering collaboration with fellow faculty and department heads. Passion for educating students on aircraft electrical and electronic systems is essential to elevate their learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver curriculum for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Category E
• Evaluate student performance through assignments and practical projects
• Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff
• Maintain curriculum standards in line with Transport Canada guidelines
• Support program delivery effectively
Requirements:
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License Category E
• Five years industry experience preferred
• Teaching experience in related fields desired
• Strong English communication skills
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office 360
