Electrical Test Engineer

Advance your engineering career as an Electrical Test Engineer in Richmond, BC with Randstad Canada. This is a 6-month on-site contract role focusing on electrical product testing and development.

In this position, you will collaborate with design engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans under a structured mentorship system. Ideal for recent graduates or candidates with internship experience, you will gain hands-on exposure to cutting-edge electrical testing environments while ensuring the functionality and performance of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed test plans from system specifications

• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests

• Identify and document hardware and firmware defects

• Support test bench lifecycle from design to maintenance

• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 0-3 years of experience in electrical testing

• Familiarity with test equipment like AC/DC supplies

• Knowledge of C++ is preferred

• Strong communication skills and teamwork experience
