Become an integral part of White Water as a Controls Engineer, focusing on the design of advanced control systems for amusement rides. Leverage your PLC programming skills and engineering background to enhance safety and efficiency.
In this full-time Electrical Controls Technologist position, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of ride control systems from design to commissioning. The ideal candidate possesses a detail-oriented approach combined with strong technical expertise to ensure compliance with safety standards and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design safety-compliant control systems for rides
• Lead the development of PLC systems using Siemens software
• Manage functional safety validation and risk assessments
• Ensure timely commissioning and project handovers
• Drive collaboration across engineering and supply chain teams
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
• 4–6 years' experience in automation and controls
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
• Familiar with ISO 13849 and electrical regulatory standards
• Willingness to undertake international travel
