We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Structural Design Specialist to support our Transport Canada Civil Aviation Design Approval Organization. This full-time, onsite position involves creating detailed designs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting certification processes. Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to translate engineering requirements into manufacturable designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for aircraft structures
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate design elements
• Ensure designs comply with CARs and rotorcraft standards
• Support manufacturing teams and resolve shop floor issues
• Create repair schemes and assembly instructions
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Aerospace or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 2 years in aerospace structural design preferred
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor
• Understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with TCCA regulations is a plus
Utilize your design expertise and contribute to innovative aircraft solutions in a certified aerospace environment.
