Cogent Industrial Technologies is seeking an Intermediate Automation & Controls Engineer/Technologist to innovate in design, development, and support of automation projects. You will work in diverse environments from modernizing legacy systems to implementing cutting-edge automation solutions. Your hands-on experience will be essential in collaborating with various stakeholders in the forestry, utilities, and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and commission industrial control systems for various industries
• Support modernization projects with leading automation platforms
• Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications tailored to client needs
• Assist in creating technical documentation and system specifications
• Troubleshoot communication networks and control systems effectively
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in industrial automation and controls
• Relevant education in engineering or technology disciplines
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial networking
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Authorized to work in Canada
