Norsat International Inc. is a renowned provider of communication solutions, seeking an RF Manufacturing Engineer.
Your role will entail supporting the production transition of new products, working collaboratively with engineering and production teams. Candidates should have a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, along with experience in RF/high-frequency testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in integrating new product designs into manufacturing operations
• Analyze production procedures for accuracy and efficiency gains
• Perform initial inspections on new components and relay findings
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for product updates
• Partner with technicians to troubleshoot assembly issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Approximately 3 years of experience with RF/high-frequency testing
• Proficient with MRP and ECO workflows in manufacturing
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and Lean Manufacturing is a plus
• On-site work required in Richmond, BC
