Join a dynamic geointelligence engineering team in Richmond, BC, as a Systems Engineer on a 12-month contract. Engage in designing complex satellite systems and delivering mission-critical solutions.
This role focuses on creating engineering solutions for satellite control, downlink imagery, and data processing. Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers and customer stakeholders, you'll assist in building a custom ground station and be involved throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate to translate customer needs into actionable requirements
• Transform high-level requirements into detailed subsystem specifications
• Perform operational analyses and trade-off studies
• Present clear technical proposals to stakeholders
• Manage system baselines using modeling tools
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or Engineering Physics
• 5+ years in relevant engineering fields
• Proficiency with Matlab and Python
• Experience with STK or similar modeling tools
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
