We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Engineer/Physicist with a strong background in optics and experimental physics. You will be responsible for developing high-precision diagnostic techniques for monitoring lithium liners and collaborating with a talented team in a cutting-edge R&D environment. Your work will help advance General Fusion's mission of commercializing clean fusion energy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement precision diagnostic measurement systems
• Develop and optimize advanced optical metrology systems
• Introduce emerging optical technologies for accuracy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
• Document experimental procedures and findings through reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in experimental physics labs
• Strong background in optical systems and lasers
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
