We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Co-op Test Engineering - Mechanical
. This position reports to Test Engineering Manager and will work in Vancouver, B.C.
** Please note that this position is open to current students enrolled in a Canadian accredited university and co-op program.
Dometic Marine’s headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic, electronic, and combustion-based products.
As Co-op Test Engineering - Mechanical on the Vancouver team, you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks supporting administrative, engineering, and technical staff throughout the facility.
General Responsibilities- Prepare test samples
- Conduct and document multiple tests simultaneously
- Ensure continuous operation of test benches, and assist in maintaining or modifying as required
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on test samples and equipment
- Complete preliminary data analysis
- Prepare reports on completed and in-progress testing
- Assist in the selection, installation, and integration of sensors (pressure, force, strain, displacement, etc.)
- Provide recommendations to improve product testing (processes, methods, analysis, etc)
- Research and design concept solutions

- Experience in mechanical/electrical/software blend for both product design, and manufacturing & machining equipment designing along with its processes
- Exposure to both worlds of product development and manufacturing processes since we do it all in one facility!
