In this Process Engineer – Modeling and Simulation role, you will be instrumental in the development of process models that drive design verification, performance analysis, and operator training. Engage with clients and internal teams to translate engineering data into actionable insights, making a tangible impact in project management and execution phases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain dynamic and steady-state models with ANDRITZ IDEAS
• Construct mass and energy balance flow sheets for mining plants
• Perform scenario analyses and validation for operator training
• Assure documentation accuracy for technical specifications
• Enhance project outcomes through risk identification and mitigation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mining, or Metallurgy Engineering
• Strong understanding of process fundamentals in mining
• Experience with ANDRITZ IDEAS or similar simulation software
• Proficient in reading technical specifications and engineering schematics
• Familiarity with collaborative engineering workflows
