Your Responsibilities:As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be a key technical pillar and play a critical role in the success of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Engineering and Design- Participate in the definition, planning, and development of concepts (conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering).
- Establish design bases and technical criteria for projects.
- Perform or supervise:
- mass and energy balances,
- process simulations,
- P&t,
- hydraulic calculations,
- equipment and piping selection and sizing,
- pressure safety valve (PSV) sizing and specification.
- Ensure the technical quality of process deliverables.
- Mentor junior and intermediate process engineers.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary activities and ensure technical consistency across teams.
- Work closely with project managers and clients.
- Plan and monitor hour budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Contribute to business development for clients in Eastern Canada.
- Act as the main point of contact for certain clients on process-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Member of the Order of Engineers of the province
- Experience in the oil and gas (refining) sector is an asset
- Experience in consulting engineering or project execution is an asset
- Ability to manage a portfolio of small to large-scale projects with fast turnaround (typically 6 to 16 weeks)
- Bilingual:
French and English (spoken and written) is an asset - Availability for occasional travel within Canada (a few days up to 2 weeks)
