In this pivotal role reporting to the Senior Manager of Estimating, you will oversee the estimating function, ensuring precision in material and labor estimates across multiple product lines. Key responsibilities include managing bids, reviewing documents, and collaborating with various teams to enhance estimating accuracy.
Your role significantly contributes to timely and competitive bidding processes while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review tender documents and confirm project scopes with Sales
• Prepare detailed estimates using Nortrak's methodology
• Document assumptions and risks to support evaluations
• Manage bids to meet deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
• Post-Secondary education in Engineering or a technical field
• Commercial estimating experience in heavy steel fabrication
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and communication skills
