BIM and structural drafting meet in this full-time Junior Structural Drafter position at White Water in Richmond, British Columbia. Create accurate drawings and models.
Supporting the Structural Engineering department, you will assist engineers throughout product development, from proposals through manufacturing and construction. The position involves Autodesk Forma tools, BIM coordination, drawing interpretation, and technical documentation. White Water will relocate to Vancouver Downtown in mid-2027.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce professional two-dimensional structural drawings and three-dimensional models
- Execute BIM preparation and coordination under experienced drafters
- Interpret engineering drawings from internal and external sources
- Perform drafting checks on drawings and models
- Coordinate drawing releases and project documentation
- Proficiency in Autodesk Forma, including AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Revit
- Experience or exposure to drafting and modelling
- Competency with Microsoft Office applications
- Structural Engineering or Architecture post-secondary qualification highly valued
- Legal eligibility to work in British Columbia
