Happiness Expert – Richmond, BC – Full-time
Accent Inns (the hotel with a rubber duck in every room) and Hotel Zed (rebels against the ordinary) are searching for a Happiness Expert (Full Time) to join our Customer Happiness Hub at our Richmond, BC location. This is an in-person role; no remote option is available.
The Customer Happiness Hub provides relationship-based customer service experiences while maximizing revenue, reinforcing our unique brands, and establishing meaningful human connections that make a positive difference in someone’s day.

- Create memorable brand touchpoints that drive loyalty.
- Engage in thousands of conversations in the Happiness Hub by phone, email, SMS, or social channels to reinforce our brands and make every customer smile.
- Drive sales by booking more rooms and maximizing yield.
- Ask questions to uncover opportunities, use storytelling to showcase why our properties are the perfect fit, and ask for the sale.
- Be the communications and service center for customers.
- Help deliver outstanding service on property by capturing customer information when making reservations so it can be shared with our properties.
- Set expectations and showcase hotel amenities relevant to customer conversations; suggest local events or restaurants to enhance the stay.
- Develop loyalty for corporate clients, groups, and travel trade customers through outstanding and seamless service and communications.
- Available to work in-person at our Richmond location – no remote option available.
- Must be available on weekends and evenings (latest shift ends at 11:30 pm).
- Previous sales and/or hotel experience is preferred.
- Fun-loving nature and easy conversationalist.
- Strong emotional awareness to understand how others are feeling.
- Tech-savvy with systems experience.
- Multi-tasker who stays composed under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills with a sleuth-like approach.
- Good grammar and writing skills.
- Front desk or reservations office experience is an asset; training is available.
