Position: Usher Role with City Hill
Become an Usher at the City of Richmond Hill and provide outstanding service during performing arts events.

Your role will involve assisting patrons and ensuring a safe environment throughout performances.

In this position, which reports to the Front of House Coordinator, you will be directly involved in the event experience for patrons. You will be responsible for tasks such as ticket taking, program distribution, and providing assistance in emergencies. Familiarity with venue logistics and adherence to safety protocols are crucial for this role. Your interaction with the audience helps foster a positive cultural atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend pre-event briefings for task assignments

• Manage program distribution and collection during events

• Check coats, take tickets, and guide patrons to their seats

• Monitor the venue for cleanliness and safety concerns

• Assist in emergency situations to safeguard patrons

Requirements:

• Willing to train in CPR and First Aid

• Understanding of emergency procedures and venue layout

• Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms as necessary

• Strong observational skills and effective communication

• Successful completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
