The Planner 3 position involves advanced professional planning work under the Affordable Housing Manager. You will conduct financial feasibility analyses and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to lead strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed funding analyses for housing projects
• Lead affordable housing initiatives with a focus on community needs
• Engage with various departments to enhance service processes
• Mentor staff and provide strategic recommendations
• Present initiatives professionally at Council and committee meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years in housing development or financing
• University degree in relevant fields like Planning or Engineering
• Experience with in municipal or senior government preferred
• Eligibility for membership in planning associations
• Class 5 Driver’s License for BC
