Reporting to the Manager of Trade Compliance, this role requires proactive management of export controls and permits. Candidates should have at least a two-year background in export controls along with a degree in International Trade, Commerce, or Law. You will work closely with MDA programs to ensure compliance and also support cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing export practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage applications for export permits and licenses
• Maintain compliance with ITAR/EAR and Canadian regulations
• Review Technical Assistance Agreements and export approvals
• Train MDA employees on export control policies
• Devise creative solutions for export control challenges
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in export controls
• Strong familiarity with Canadian and U.S. export laws
• Ability to handle complex export-related issues
• Excellent judgement in compliance matters
• Required security clearance for Controlled Goods Program
Contribute your skills in compliance and problem-solving at MDA, ensuring proper trade control adherence.
