Registered Respiratory Therapist

This remote role is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist who will provide respiratory care and support to patients. Responsibilities include assessing, managing, and evaluating respiratory conditions, instructing patients in proper equipment usage, and offering ongoing consultation to improve respiratory outcomes. The therapist will collaborate closely with healthcare providers and other team members to implement personalized care plans, ensuring the safety and wellness of patients in their homes or communities.

The role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge in respiratory medicine and demonstrating professionalism in all patient interactions.

• Setting up patients on Home Oxygen Therapy and completing Assessments
• Educating patients on use of Medical Equipment including, Oxygen, CPAP/Bipap/myAirvo2
• Ventilator experience and asset

• Proficient in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Therapy techniques
• Experience in Respiratory Care, including managing chronic respiratory conditions
• Knowledge and experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and related practices
• Familiarity with medical methods and practices associated with respiratory care
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and caregivers
• Ability to work independently and deliver care in a remote setting
• A valid license or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Previous experience in home healthcare or with medical equipment is an asset
