Life Labs is actively recruiting for three part time Medical Laboratory Assistants across its facilities in Vancouver and Richmond. You will play a crucial role in performing specimen collections, including blood draws and specialized tests, while also managing client relationships. Flexibility is key, as you will work different days and occasionally alone during breaks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and clarify the specimen collection process
• Conduct phlebotomies and special tests, completing documentation
• Foster effective client communication and respond to inquiries
• Perform data entry for processing test results
• Ensure proper preparation of specimens for testing
Requirements:
• Medical Laboratory Assistant program or related healthcare experience
• Phlebotomy, ECG, or IV training is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Commitment to maintaining patient privacy
