WorkSafeBC is hiring an Experienced Occupational Therapist to support injured workers in Richmond. This role emphasizes applying clinical skills to promote patient independence and vocational rehabilitation.
As a part of our Special Care Services team, you will provide essential services to clients struggling with physical or mental health conditions. Your expertise will help shape comprehensive treatment plans while fostering supportive relationships with injured workers and their employers. You'll be an integral part of a dedicated team committed to enhancing recovery and promoting workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan health services for clients
• Visit worksites and coordinate with external providers
• Lead clinical discussions in team settings
• Oversee return-to-work plans for complex cases
• Provide educational sessions for internal and external parties
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Minimum six years of clinical experience
• Must hold valid registration in B.C.
• Capacity for regional travel is mandatory
• Valid driver's license required
