Radiological Technologist, Mammography Specialist

Become a Radiological Technologist with Vancouver Coastal Health, supporting Richmond Hospital and Urgent Care Centres. Focus on screening mammography and general radiography while ensuring patient safety and care.

This role involves practicing according to professional standards within a client-centered care model. As a Radiological Technologist, you will perform routine mammography and diagnostic imaging procedures while entering data into our Radiology Information System (RIS). Your expertise will help maintain high-quality service across Lower Mainland Medical Imaging health authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine screening mammography and diagnostic imaging

• Enter requisition data into the Radiology Information System

• Prepare examination trays and assist patients for imaging

• Operate computerized imaging equipment and monitor operations

• Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms

Requirements:

• Certification with the CAMRT

• One year of recent mammography experience

• Knowledge of medical imaging standards and guidelines

• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams

• CPR certification and physical capability for duties
