As the MRI Team Lead, you will report directly to the Manager and ensure efficient operations within the Diagnostic Imaging department. This position requires a graduate of a recognized MRI Technology School with at least three years of clinical experience. Your leadership skills and competency in MRI procedures will guide a dedicated team, ensuring excellent patient care and an organized facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of the MRI unit
• Perform clinical duties within competency
• Maintain updated knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures
• Demonstrate strong patient care and communication skills
• Lead team members effectively in multi-site imaging
Requirements:
• Graduate of accredited MRI Technology program
• CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP MRI licensure
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an MRI technologist
• Leadership experience in an imaging department
• Formal management training preferred
Lead with expertise in MRI and patient care at Nova Scotia Health's Diagnostic Imaging division while shaping a successful team in Cape Breton.
