Support prescription filling and administrative duties as a Pharmacy Assistant at Walmart in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Work under Pharmacist supervision while supporting patient care.
This Pharmacy Assistant supports technical prescription processes and pharmacy operations ponsibilities include receiving prescriptions, entering patient information, processing written prescriptions, and preparing products under the Pharmacist’s supervision. The position also supports customer service, inventory, housekeeping, clerical organization, and over-the-counter operations.
Responsabilités principales :- Receive prescriptions and assess required patient information
- Enter data, process refills, and generate reports
- Fill prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision and complete accuracy checks
- Maintain inventory, process orders, and remove expired medications
- Support housekeeping, clerical duties, and OTC operations
- Be at least 16 years old
- Recognize drug names and interpret Latin abbreviations
- Perform dosage calculations and prescription processing
- Follow provincial legal and regulatory conditions
- Complete duties under Pharmacist direction and supervision
