We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic, and detailed oriented professional to join River Rock Casino Resort as part of the Reservation team. The Reservation Agent will be responsible for the promotion, sales and booking of hotel accommodations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Responds to all communications directed to the Reservations OfficeQuotes rates and reserves guest roomsProvides travel information, local tourism information and attractionsProvides information on the resort: upcoming shows, special events and promotionsMakes every effort to promotes hotel packages including all areas of the resortMakes every effort to cross sell and promote all Great Canadian Gaming Corporation propertiesUp-sells to increase revenuesExplains all policies of the Resort.Sends out confirmation notices; accepts payment and gives refundsHandles group inquiries or forwards to SalesLiaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDevelops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and employeesEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directedThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
High School Diploma;
Post-Secondary hospitality or hotel education or suitable combination of education and experienceMinimum 1 year reservations experienceAbility to obtain the criminal background checkAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communicationComputer literacy in MS Office, Opera/Fidelio an assetServing It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right CertificationA commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guestsA willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional developmentA passion for providing Great Experiences and Memories to our internal and external guests in the continual quest of achieving service excellenceLive GCE’s Values on the job:
