Base pay rangeCA $60,000.00/yr - CA $65,000.00/yr
The People & Culture Coordinator supports the Employee Care team in ensuring PASS employees receive timely, consistent, and supportive service aligned with company values and organizational objectives. Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, this role serves as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers while providing essential administrative and coordination support to the broader Employee Care function.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate employee records and files; including updating databases with new hires, terminations, leaves, transfers, and other changes.
- Assist with the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all onboarding paperwork, payroll details, and benefits enrolment information is accurate and filed appropriately.
- Respond to general enquiries from employees and managers related to benefits, company policies, and HR procedures while fostering a positive, open line of communication.
- Coordinate employee offboarding processes and update records to ensure compliance.
- Administer the CARE Award program and support other employee recognition activities as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including maintaining and distributing information such as seniority lists.
- Assist with special projects as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree an asset).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Human Resources administration, or coordination role (experience in a unionized or aviation/security setting is an asset).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Organized, pro‑active, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing needs.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Able to obtain a Transportation Security Clearance (TSC) and meet federal security requirements.
