White Water is seeking a Microsoft D365 F&O Platform Lead to join our IT team at our Richmond head office. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, stability, and evolution of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (ERP) platform and its supporting ecosystem.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Platform operations & administration:
    Day‑to‑day administration of D365FO
    including security, role management, licensing and environment health.
  • Triage and resolution of functional and technical issues, partnering with a technical team member who handles the ticket queue and development work.
  • Manage the upgrade cycle, patches and Microsoft release wave planning.
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations and integrations.
  • Lead D365FO
    enhancement projects across finance, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing — from requirements through go‑live.
  • Identify and close gaps where manual or siloed processes can be replaced with platform capability.
  • Oversee custom development, reporting and integration work directing the technical developer and/or external partners.
  • Support a broader digital transformation agenda toward data‑driven processes.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders through demonstration of the tangible value our ERP investment brings.
  • Be the internal advocate and trusted voice for ERP adoption across the organization from the shop floor to the executive team.
  • Run user training, onboarding and change communications for new capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into platform solutions, and platform capabilities into business language.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Background in engineer‑to‑order, project‑based manufacturing or construction environments is an asset.
  • 5+ years relevant experience working with D365FO
    in a hands‑on functional or platform role is a must.
  • Proven track record running ERP projects or implementations, not just support.
  • Deep understanding of ERP‑related business processes order management, procurement, manufacturing, finance is required.
  • Strong communicator who is equally comfortable presenting to a VP and troubleshooting with an end user.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a technical team member or external developer is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, Power

    BI or Azure integrations in a D365 context is an asset.
  • Experience navigating Process Change Management (the People side of change) is an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
