Elevate business insights with WorkSafeBC as a Data Engineer. Utilize your expertise in data analytics and ETL processes in a hybrid work model designed for optimal performance.
This 18-month temporary role focuses on ensuring data quality and availability for analytics. You will design datasets, build ETL pipelines, and collaborate with technology professionals to enhance data governance and privacy compliance. Your contributions will directly impact decision-making across B.C.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ingest various data types into analytics platforms
• Create logical data models from business requirements
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for data processing
• Ensure data quality for strategic business decisions
• Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver quality results
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or STEM field
• Minimum 3 years of analytics experience
• At least 2 years in SQL/ETL for analytics
• Strong knowledge of relational database systems
• Ability to mentor and teach others
