Platform Specialist Network Administrator

Act as a key player in secure environments as a Platform Specialist Network Administrator based in Richmond, BC. You’ll focus on managing and supporting advanced network technologies and security systems.

We seek a Network Administrator / Platform Specialist who will be responsible for configuring Cisco infrastructure and resolving networking issues effectively. In this role, administer both Linux and Windows systems, while enhancing virtualization support and managing storage solutions. Security control implementation and compliance activities are also integral to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Cisco network infrastructure for optimal security

• Resolve complex networking issues in diverse environments

• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems

• Support VMware or equivalent virtualization technologies

• Create documentation to maintain network health

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or degree required

• 4+ years of relevant experience in networking

• In-depth knowledge of network security practices

• Experience with switching, routing, and VLANs

• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
