As a Level 2 Computer Systems Technologist, you'll coordinate critical technology initiatives supporting over 21,000 students. This role demands extensive experience, including project supervision, networking, and user support. Your expertise will shape IT strategies and optimize system performance across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, test, and maintain computer and network systems
• Monitor activities to enhance network performance
• Recommend IT policies and standards
• Provide training and assistance to users and staff
• Prepare technical documentation for operations
Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus Diploma in Computer Information Systems Technology
• Seven years of relevant experience with project supervision
• Certification in LAN/WAN operating systems
• Extensive knowledge of network operating systems
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
