Join Lions Gate Underwriting as an Underwriter specializing in Construction. This full-time role combines risk evaluation and business development in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
At LGU, you will be underwriting and negotiating both new and renewal Construction business. Your expertise will help maintain strong broker relationships while you assess risks and ensure adequate pricing. This position requires a keen analytical mindset and a commitment to meeting policy and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite multiple product lines including Architects & Engineers
• Manage risk selection and coverage negotiation effectively
• Identify and analyze new business opportunities
• Establish strong broker relationships for business growth
• Keep up with market trends and industry developments
Requirements:
• Mandatory Insurance Agency Level 1 license
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to multitask and manage timelines
• In-depth knowledge of policy wordings and coverage
• Experience with EPIC and Policy Works preferred
