Sourcing Manager - Indirect Goods Specialist

Join us as a Strategic Sourcing Manager focused on indirect purchasing. This 6-month contract position allows for hybrid working between Richmond, BC, and Burlington, ON.

As a key player in the sourcing team, you will report to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, executing purchasing activities involving indirect goods and services.

Your role will involve capital equipment procurement and vendor negotiations, ensuring compliance with legislative standards while managing supplier engagement across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal units to establish supplier needs

• Lead Capex sourcing activities and technical negotiations

• Create RFPs, RFQs, and other sourcing events

• Negotiate contracts to optimize supplier value

• Monitor and manage supplier contract renewals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing experience

• 5+ years of contract negotiation experience

• Preferred SCMP or supply chain certification

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with IT equipment sourcing
