This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in purchasing within a manufacturing setting. You will review MRP requirements, manage inventory levels, and support continuous improvement initiatives while working with various departments. Your insights will influence informed business decisions and procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Issue purchase orders to meet production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance and lead times
• Resolve supply risks, shortages, and late deliveries
• Maintain accurate documentation within the ERP system
• Support purchasing best practices and ERP enhancements
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in purchasing within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills in data interpretation
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
• Hybrid work model with Richmond head office
