Program Manager for Purchasing Operations

As the main point of contact for junior Buyers, you’ll optimize purchasing through systems like People Soft and guide departments throughout the procurement process. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Buyer 1 operations and staff management

• Champion a service-oriented approach with external vendors

• Coordinate competitive bidding and contract management

• Develop and maintain purchasing-related IT systems

• Facilitate business improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent

• 5 years in senior public sector purchasing roles

• SCMP certification is a plus

• Strong decision-making and coaching abilities

• Sound knowledge of contract and procurement legislation
