Gate Gourmet Sanitation Team Member

Become a crucial part of the Gate Gourmet team as a Sanitation Team Member at Vancouver International Airport. This role ensures kitchen cleanliness for enhancing customer journeys.

We are looking for dedicated individuals for the Porter role within Gate Gourmet’s Flight Kitchen. Responsibilities include cleaning kitchen equipment, operating heavy-duty machines, and assisting with waste disposal. Successful candidates will prioritize duties while delivering outstanding service to internal customers in a bustling setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively clean and sanitize all kitchen areas

• Operate cleaning machines and manage waste

• Maintain chemical supplies and document sanitation logs

• Report issues and communicate with team members

• Complete assigned duties in a timely manner

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance

• Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds

• Good communication and teamwork skills required

• Willingness to work outdoors and on foot throughout the shift
