The Lower Mainland Society for Community Living is seeking a handyman in Richmond, BC, for a permanent, full-time role at $28.85 per hour. This hands-on position focuses on maintenance and minor repairs.
In this role, the handyman will be responsible for various upkeep tasks, ensuring a clean and functioning environment. Responsibilities include operating vacuum cleaners, conducting minor plumbing and electrical work, and performing safety checks. A dependable approach to work with minimal supervision is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and common areas
• Conduct repairs on heating and cooling systems
• Manage outdoor maintenance, including snow removal
• Move and arrange heavy furniture as required
• Support cleaning and upkeep of facilities
Requirements:
• High school graduation certificate is required
• Experience in handyman work is preferred
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Able to handle physical demands of the job
• Must speak English fluently
