Building Maintenance Worker

Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Building Maintenance Worker to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you are responsible for general building maintenance functions, maintenance repairs, upkeep, and plant start-up requirements.

As the Building Maintenance Worker, you will perform general building repairs, you will:
• Identify and recommend preventive maintenance requirements for the building and basic equipment.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC systems.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs.
• Maintain a service log to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with snow removal and ground maintenance, when required.
• Ensure and enforce compliance to all company and legislated safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:
• Must be able to work Monday
- Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm
• A high school diploma, Grade 12 or equivalent.
• One year of related maintenance/operations experience.
• Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and HVAC electrical/mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of construction materials and basic power tools.
• Good mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Can work overtime as needed
